If I were started a company, then I would seriously look into a B Corp.  The C Corp legal standard of shareholders Uber Alles is nuts on so many levels given it leaves out 3 important stakeholders in corporate governance - employees, the community and customers. 

This point of view probably shocks some of my friends, but I think the short term focus on profits (think outsourcing to Asia) ignores long term profitability and stability (ie. taking money from your customers by getting rid of their jobs - insanely illogical on so many levels).  I am not suggesting letting the inmates run the asylum, but you should at least be allowed to consider them.
