Tron Guy Reviews Tron: Legacy, Says Sequel Almost Drove Him to Tears via WIRED

Not an Onion article, but this is quite sweet - obviously biased, but he definately has a true love for this:

Even so, I was really excited when Wired.com arranged for me to see an early screening of Tron: Legacy. Here, at last, was the result of all the hard work, massive computing resources and money spent on bringing the Tron universe to a new generation. I walked in, expecting to be blown away both from what I’d seen before and from what I knew about the production.
I was not disappointed.

vruz: damn disney. I will have to find me a *very* smart argument to allow myself to give them money.

Rafer sez:@vruz that’s what filesharing is for. Or even DVD rental. If you rent a DVD, Disney’s already been paid and gets no incremental benefit.

@Rafer @Vruz RE: DVD rental - not true - almost all major DVD rental services are run on a rev share basis (blockbuster, netflix, redbox (now)). And if you want to see a Tron Next then you should give them your money.
