One of the final 2010 Pontiac G6 sedans moves down the line at General Motors Orion assembly plant last week in Michigan. The production marked the end of the line for the venerable Pontiac nameplate.

And what a forgettable car.  The G6 and its predecessors tell you all you need to know about how shitty products can kill a company.  Why we saved GM is beyond me.  What a great lesson about moral hazard - not.

Imagine what we could have done with that $60 billion in the hand of a dozen electric car startups.  Sigh.
