First off, it’s hard to imagine these people actually saying what the tech industry needs to succeed - relaxed immigration, substantial patent reform, maybe net neutrality, increased competition in last mile internet, true education reform.  But I think the most depressing thing is that even if they spelled it out, with perfect bills written, handed it to him, and Obama said unequivocally ”I will do this,” it still wouldn’t get done.  And the band played on. Though agreed on those policy initiatives - the coolest thing is that jobs is wearing a black turtleneck and jeans.  I LOVE that he wouldn’t compromise his style. And yes I LOATHE wearing ties/suits.
